Penned in 2000 as a joint effort between Julia Child and David Nussbaum, it is a practical guide to Julia Child’s ‘essential techniques and recipes from a lifetime of cooking’ nicely updated for today’s kitchen to include modern equipment and methods.

    I really like this book. We had the best roast chicken a couple of weeks ago using Julia’s method as she described it in the book. It was very simple, nothing complicated, but had great results. Recommended!
